coming up--new looks
It all started with the Big B when he starred as a 13-year-old child suffering from ‘progeria’ in ‘Paa’. Now Aishwarya thinks it is her turn to give new looks and she plays the role of a very old lady in the Vipul Shah’s new upcoming film ‘Action replay’. She exposes herself to extensive make-up and reliable sources say it takes nearly 4 to 5 hours for one sitting. It is also said that Paul Pattison, who fashioned Mel Gibson for ‘Braveheart’ and Tom Cruise for ‘Mission Impossible’ is also roped in to help Aishwarya in her make-up.
They say that the film is about time travel and she appears as an old lady in one part of her roles. It took several sittings and many trials for the make-up model to be finalized and they say Aishwarya was very patient and cooperative. Amitabh also went through a similar ordeal for his role in ‘Paa’.

Since the time Mani Ratnam’s new film ‘Ravan’ went into production , speculations are being made that Abhishek Bachchan is playing the titular ‘Ravan’ and Bachchan’s better half, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is playing the character of ‘Sita’. However, Aishwarya Rai has recently refused the rumors.
Abhishek Bachchan has said in many interviews, that he is playing Ravan. Aishwarya’s comment is being seen as an attempt to avoid any religious controversies.
Aishwarya Rai made this comment, when she was addressing the media a press conference in the city of Kolkata. The press conference was being held for the launch of her latest Hollywood film, Pink Panther 2.
Despite Aishwarya Rai denying the fact again and again, rumors abound that she is actually learning classical singing to prepare for her role as a classical singer ‘Sita’ in the film ‘Raavan’.
The truth will come out once the film releases.
